III Presentation The theme of our lesson is ′Shopping in London′.Today we are talking about shops.
London Oxford Street is a vibrant and colourful. London shopping area that gets extremely busy on the weekends and season sales. Oxford Street in London and the Piccadilly area were mainly residential. Top music shops include HMV and the Virgin Megastore.
I′d like you to look at the slide.
Forbidden Planet  is the trading name of two separate science fiction, fantasy and horror bookshops chains across the United Kingdom, Ireland and the United States of America, named after  the 1956 feature film  of the same name. As well as books the shops sell comic books , novels, video games and a wide variety of toys and comics.
Davenports isn’t any old magic shop (if there even is such a thing), it’s the oldest family magic shop in the world. Magic was experiencing its first golden age. You will find it at Charing Cross underground station.
Selfridge is a chain of High Street department stores with its flagship store on London’s Oxford Street. There are six restaurants, five bars, a library, bank, pet shop, dry cleaners, everything from Indian cigarettes to domestic equipment to buy, a ticket agency and departments for christening, weddings and funerals.
Camden Market is a good place for clothes, jewelleryand  souvenirs.Topshopis a good place for clothers. 5min
